Toi Thomas

Why are you THE Next Favorite Author?
I write for story lovers. I love fresh stories, characters, and worlds. I’ll be the favorite author of a geek like me.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?
When I’m not writing, I’m indulging in all my geekiest interests. I love to read, so I read a lot. While many will argue about whether print or digital is better, I’ll read whatever I can get my hands on (books, comic books, even audio books work), but will admit that I love my Kindle. God first, husband second, dog, family and Kindle tied. I know it’s a problem. When I’m not reading, I’m watching movies or listening to records. The hubs and I have a pretty extensive vinyl collection (I like to collect things: action figures, tea cups, and bookmarks just to name a few). I also spend a lot of time drawing, coloring, and painting. And if I feel I need to blow off some steam, I teeter between baking from scratch and dancing. Everything I do for pleasure fuels my life and my creativity. It all makes me who I am; it makes me a better writer.
