Eva Pasco

Why are you THE Next Favorite Author?
I write Lit with wit and grit in the genre of Contemporary Women’s Fiction
What makes your book stand out from the crowd?
An excerpt from Joel R. Dennstedt’s 5-Star review for Readers’ Favorite indicates how my book stands out from the crowd—“As a stylistic practice in relating the story behind An Enlightening Quiche, Eva Pasco accomplishes a most difficult task for a writer, and she accomplishes it to perfection: not only using alternating voices, but having each voice alternate between the present and a remembered, expository past. The effect of such stylistic mastery is to create – breaking from the culinary theme – a sensationally intricate and complex tapestry as pleasing to the reader’s mind as such artwork is to expert eyes. And though this work has been labeled simplistically as “contemporary women’s fiction,” make no mistake: this is a psychological, literary novel, and a wonderful, highly challenging masterpiece of writing.”
Give an about the Author Blurb
After retiring from a career in elementary education, midlife restlessness prompted Eva to rekindle her passion for storytelling by composing Contemporary Women’s Fiction distinguished for its character-driven plots which feature protagonists who plunge the depths of despair and suffer the consequences in their darkest hours prior to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. A native Rhode Islander, she adds local flavor by incorporating geographic entities, historic landmarks, and regional culture in her novels.

  3. As I've said so many times in the past few weeks, if I could give Eva's novel a 10-Star rating, I would! "An Enlightening Quiche" took me back to my own childhood in a New England mill town with Canadian American roots, and I can't thank Eva enough for her intimate snapshot of such familiar characters and settings. This is one novel I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to escape into a true small town mystery with some of the most beguiling and fascinating people you'd ever care to meet! Great interview for a great author!
