Questions?

This is the first ask a question day.
Usually I will post a question about you as authors and your writing journey.
Although I want this to be an opportunity for you to tell the blogs audience about yourself, today I want you to ask questions. What do you want to know about me, this blog and shy I am doing this?
I will be as transparent as possible.
Thanks
Lucinda Moebius

  1. Hi Lucinda!
How do you feel that authors across the board (indie, self-published, traditional published, and still in progress) will benefit from sharing each other's work?
How will this blog help both authors and readers alike? :)

    1. Any time you talk about writing, publishing and promoting you not only develop important skills, but you create the most important thing an author can have, and that is contacts. We are using each others platforms to introduce tons of new authors to readers. By building a supportive community we help each other write better and therefore we create more quality work for readers.
Writers benefit because their work is getting out in front of readers. It will no longer be buried in the flotsam and jetsam of Amazon.

  2. How are you reaching your target audience? Are you focusing on a specific social media platform, hash tags, or online groups where they congregate?

    1. Right now I am experimenting with a number of promotions. My main focus has been developing FB groups and using my contacts there to develop my audience. I am still learning to use social media so my success has been hot and cold. There are plenty of writer's groups out there, but there aren't many reading groups out there. if I felt I could have as much success at creating a reading group as I did my writing groups I would have a dozen of them.
I do have a few ideas in the works to create more buzz for my books (and other authors) such as a youtube channel and a new twitter page so be on the lookout for those.
      Good Writing my friend.
